16th June 2025: Volteras, a leading company in the field of energy data, announces a strategic partnership with Volkswagen Group Info Services AG. Volteras is the first UK-based entity to integrate with the Volkswagen API. The goal of this cooperation is to expand data solutions for fleet operators by directly integrating vehicle data from the brands Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Škoda, Seat, Cupra and Audi.

Expanded brand coverage

Volkswagen Group Info Services AG joins existing Volteras partners including Mercedes-Benz, Ford and Stellantis, bringing Volteras’ total number of OEM integrations to 30. This gives businesses across the energy landscape access to even more bespoke vehicle data and insights, helping them electrify with data management taken care of.

All processes comply fully with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to guarantee the highest standards of data protection and security.

Fast, reliable data streaming

Volteras streams high-resolution telematic data up to every 5 seconds. Data endpoints across a wide range of automotive brands include preventive maintenance, driving behavior analytics, crash detection, and much more.

The API also generates proprietary algorithms to provide customized solutions for any business in clean energy.

Customers can connect vehicles to the Volteras platform fully remotely. All that’s required to upload fleets is the vehicle identification number (VIN)—and vehicles can be connected either in bulk or individually within minutes. No hardware or input from the driver is required.
